ABOUT ME

What is your favorite book?
The Bible is the book I read the most, otherwise it is typically special subjects where I need reference information related to what I’m involved in or researching at various times. I very seldom read novels or fiction.

What are your hobbies?
I travel frequently with Ann in North America and Europe, and enjoy photography. My major hobby is restoring and showing classic cars at the National competition level.

What is your favorite food?
I like any kind of beef and especially big ole cheese burgers.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?
My favorite Bible verses are,
Old Testament: Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
New Testament: 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”

Who are your favorite sports teams?
I’m more into automotive events like the 24-hour Lemans, Monterey Historics racing and Goodwood Festival of Speed.

What is your favorite pastime?
Spending time enjoying our four grandchildren (ages 3-8) and working on classic cars.

What was your most memorable moment in ministry?
Ministering to a car club member the day he died of cancer. Performing the marriage ceremony for my son and daughter-in-law.

What is your favorite biblical character and who do you relate to?
In the Old Testament, I could relate to Nehemiah as he applied management techniques to organize the rebuilding of the walls around the city of Jerusalem and in the New Testament it is Timothy, as he started his ministry.

What pastime do you enjoy most?
Riding the Vespa scooters with Ann and driving/showing the classic cars, but only when they are running right! We also like to go canoeing or riding the tandem bicycle, but we need to be doing so more often.

What is your favorite music?
I really like the old familiar hymns and Southern Gospel such as, Amazing Grace, What Friend We Have in Jesus, How Great Thou Art, Rock of Ages, and the Old Rugged Cross.
